Newly Appointed Chief Of Plastic Surgery Staff

Dr. Benjamin, Chief of Plastic Surgery at Doctor’s Community Hospital in Lanham Maryland, is a board-certified plastic surgeon who performs the full range of "head to toe" procedures, including body contouring, abdominoplasty, breast reductions and augmentations. As a graduate of Howard University in Washington D.C. Dr. Benjamin went on to serve in the United States Army for 10 years. He was the first black surgeon trained and board certified in plastic surgery in any of the Armed Services and served as the assistant Chief of Plastic Surgery at Walter Reed Army Hospital. He has a diverse practice and sees a wide verity of patients. Having the wisdom of time and experience his patient’s outcomes are consistently outstanding and safe.
