Considering a face lift?
The appearance of our face and how it ages plays a large role in how we feel
about ourselves and how others see us. As the skin loses its elasticity and
firmness, sagging tissue and wrinkles can appear in the midface, jaw line,
and neck. When this happens, it can make your face always look tired sad, or
even angry. When really you may feel happy and enthusiastic inside, but
thats not what your face expresses. There are many different factors which
contribute to the visible signs of aging of your face , including heredity,
gravity, environmental conditions, and stress.
You may be a good candidate for a *facelift* and/or a mid *facelift* if any
of these conditions are bothering you. The *facelift* corrects sagging
facial skin and muscles and removes excess fat in order to restore a more
youthful, firmer look and a more rested and vibrant appearance.
Is A Facelift Right For You?
You may be a good candidate for a *facelift* if you are an adult man or
woman who is experiencing any of the following:
- Feelings that the outward appearance of your face does not reflect your inner or physical youth or vitality.
- A desire to fix the signs of aging appearing in your face and neck.
- The presence of a deep crease beneath the lower eyelid or a crease between the nose and mouth resulting from sagging of the mid face.
- The presence of jowls resulting from a loss of muscle tone in the lower face.
- The presence of a double chin or 'turkey neck' resulting from loose skin or excess fatty deposits beneath the chin.
You may also be a candidate for mid facelift if you have mild to moderate
loss of skin elasticity and muscle tone of the face and neck. If you have
jowls and deep creased between the base of the nose and corners of the
mouth, or if you have developed facial and neck wrinkles. Dr. Benjamin may
reccommend a full face lift if you feel the lack of a youthful chin and neck
contours, or if you believe you have a tired or "sad" facial appearance.
